The "Career in Law" event, organized by the Ali Fuad Başgil Law Society, one of our faculty's student groups, as part of Republic Day week on October 29th, was hosted by Mr. Mustafa Çetin, the Presiding Judge of the Samsun Regional Court of Justice. The event, which took place in the Faculty of Law conference hall on October 27, 2025, was attended by Mr. Osman Serkan Gülfidan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Assistant Professor of the Constitutional Department; Ms. Hatice Karacan Çetin, a faculty member of the Civil Law Department; and Ms. Betül Kayar, a faculty member of the History of Law Department. Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Eyüp Ensar Erim, President of the Ali Fuad Başgil Law Society; and Dr. Betül Kayar, the student group's academic advisor. Mr. Mustafa Çetin provided various information about the profession of judge and shared his experiences with the students. The event concluded after the students posed questions. Certificates of appreciation were presented to Mr. Mustafa Çetin.
